THURROCK will be bidding to inflict Tring’s first home defeat of the season as they look to continue their own London One North promotion push this weekend.

T’s head into the clash sitting fifth in the table, five points behind league leaders Amersham & Chiltern.

However, Tring are currently third and Thurrock’s director of rugby Dean White is expecting another tricky test.

“Saturday is going to be a very difficult game at Tring because they haven't lost at home this season and are a very good side,” said White.

“The game between us at the beginning of the season was a very exciting, high scoring game and we came away with the win.

“We are missing a number of players this week but we should be confident going into this game after last week’s performance.

“The players are also excited about this week because these games are the reason you train hard all season to prepare for.

“We will be concentrating on sticking to what we are good at.

“Processes will be very important on Saturday and this is the area we have been working on all week.”
