BURNLEY, Bournemouth, Brentford and Glasgow Rangers are all among the clubs interested in signing Southend United goalkeeper Daniel Bentley.

The Shrimpers shot-stopper looks destined to leave the club this summer.

And Echosport can reveal that a quartet of clubs have already been alerted to his availability.

Premier League newcomers Burnley are tracking the Wickford-based 22-year-old.

However, with England international Tom Heaton firmly established between the sticks for Sean Dyche’s side Bentley could decide against making the move to Turf Moor.

Bournemouth also have Artur Boruc and former Blues loanee Adam Federeci on their books which could also limit Bentley’s appearances should he make the move to the Cherries.

The former Bromfords School pupil is known to want to continue his development by playing regular first team football.

And that would seem more likely at Championship club Brentford or Scottish Premier newcomers Glasgow Rangers.

Blues have offered Bentley a lucrative deal to remain at Roots Hall.

But the keeper, who has made 160 appearances for the Shrimpers after coming through the club’s youth system, is keen to play at a higher level.

However, whoever does win the race for Bentley’s signature will be required to pay a transfer fee due to the fact he is still under the age of 24.
