SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has made five changes to his starting line-up for this afternoon’s clash at Rochdale.
Anton Ferdinand and Adam Barrett have both been recalled in the back three with John White and Adam Thompson dropping down on to the bench.
Further forward, Jermaine McGlashan, David Mooney and Stephen McLaughlin have all been handed starts as Blues again revert to a 3-4-3 formation.
As a result, Adam King has been left out of the squad while Simon Cox and Marc-Antoine Fortune have both been named on the bench where they are joined by the fit again Nile Ranger.

Substitutes: White, Thompson, Cox, Atkinson, Fortune, Smith & Ranger
