THURROCK will be looking to end a frustrating run of draws when they host Barking in London One North this afternoon.

T’s have drawn three of their last four outings.

And coach David Mobbs-Smith is keen to get back to winning ways.

“Barking will be a tough local derby this weekend but we need to win the game,” said Mobbs-Smith.

“We need to ensure that we stay in touch with the top half.

“And we we can’t keep dropping points where the game is there to be won because it’s cost us too many points already,”

Thurrock head into Saturday’s game sitting sixth in the table and should be confident of securing a victory against a Barking side who are second from bottom in the standings with just three wins in 13 outings so far this season.

In London Three North East, seventh placed Basildon are at home to Upminster in what promises to be an even encounter.

Upminster are eighth in the table but are locked level on points with Basildon and will be eager to climb above them with a win in their final outing of 2016.

In Essex One A this weekend, fourth placed Billericay will be looking to build on a brilliant 26-10 win against high-flying Stanford le Hope when they travel to Old Brentwoods.

Second placed Stanford will be looking to bounce back from the unexpected defeat when they host sixth placed Pegasus Palmerians in another local derby.

In Essex One B, third placed Canvey Island are at home to sixth placed Harwich & Dovercourt looking to close the gap on the two teams above them in the table.
