SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has selected an unchanged starting line-up for this afternoon’s game at Millwall – but there is no place in the squad for Nile Ranger.
The striker was made available for selection following a midweek FA hearing but Brown has opted not to include the 25-year-old.
Simon Cox will partner Marc-Antoine Fortune in attack but Brown has made two changes on the bench with the fit-again Ryan Inniss replacing Luke O’Neill and under 21 goalkeeper Josh Bexon taking the place of the injured Mark Oxley.
Southend United: Smith, Demetriou, Ferdinand, Thompson, Coker, Atkinson, Leonard, Timlin, Wordsworth, Cox, Fortune
Substitutes: Bexon, White, Amos, McGlashan, Nouble, Robinson & Inniss
