BILLERICAY Town manager Glenn Tamplin is set to offer former Arsenal and Southend United winger Sanchez Watt a contract today.
The 26-year-old was initially signed on a deal for two matches.
But, after a goalscoring debut against Maldon & Tiptree in the Velocity Trophy last night, Tamplin says he has made up his mind.
"Sanchez Watt really impressed me against Maldon & Tiptree," he said. "He scored a very good goal and played well.
"I will be offering him a contract today."
Watt was an Arsenal trainee before he spent a short stint at Roots Hall in 2010.
He had been without a club since leaving Crawley in the summer, but will now play against Bury Town in the FA Trophy on Saturday.
