SAM Deering inspired Billericay Town to a thumping 5-0 win against Lowestoft as the league favourites extended their advantage at the top of the Isthmian Premier League to four points.
Town took the lead after just two minutes, Deering getting on the end of an Adam Cunnington cross to head into the corner.
Billy Bricknell and Jamie O’Hara efforts went off target as the pressure continued to build on the home goal but one goal was enough at the break.
But four minutes into the second half it was 2-0. A neat corner routine ended with Danny Waldren striking into the net from 10 yards.
Bricknell headed in a third after a Deering free-kick hit the post, with the former later denied by the frame of the goal.
The excellent Deering netted a fourth before putting the ball on a plate for Jake Robinson to net his 46th goal of the season.
