It is a hard one as they stick out for different reasons.

The Concord Rangers against Barkingside game in the Essex Senior League in 2008 was a massive game. Healesy (Danny Heale) scored the winner which eventually sent us up, but there were three teams that could have gone up.

We both needed three points and Enfield 1893 needed us to draw to go up. They had finished their season so were in the crowd watching. It was swings and roundabouts all game.

Barkingside had a throw which Kev Mulley flicked into his own goal but the referee ruled it out as he didn’t think anyone had touched the ball. They thought they’d scored so they were celebrating, but then it was ruled out so Enfield were celebrating and moments later Healesy smashed one in the top corner.

So it went from us thinking we’d lost it to us taking the lead.

Anyone involved will always remember that game.

I remember the Canvey Island v Lewes game in February 2015 as it was my first game back since the birth of my little boy Harry.

We were 1-0 down until I scored a 90th minute equaliser. I ran off and did the celebration but from kick-off the ball went over my head and their striker was in. I tugged him down and got sent off! But they didn’t score from the free-kick so it was probably the right decision in the end.

The last one was when I was at Concord again in January 2016. I had left Canvey on the club’s terms as they weren’t sure I was fit enough, but I went up a league to join Concord and I wanted to prove myself again.

We were at Maidstone United and they had more than 2,000 fans there. We were 2-1 down and in the 90th minute I got a push in the penalty area and went down but the ref said no and the ball went for a corner.

I was getting so much abuse from their fans calling me a fat b****** but I got up and sent a header into the top corner. I ran off celebrating in front of all their fans. I love looking at the pictures of that to this day.
