ON-loan Billericay Town striker Sanchez Watt has become an internet sensation having been the victim of a comical red card last night.
Former Arsenal striker Watt is currently on loan at Hemel Hempstead Town in the National League South.
Having scored in the first half Watt was then shown a red card for 'dissent' by referee Dean Hulme midway through the second period.
However, the referee had misunderstood Watt as replying ‘what?’ having asked the player his name on three occasions.
The striker was shown a red card before Hemel captain Jordan Parkes had to explain the situation, with the red card subsequently rescinded.
Hemel Hempstead went on to beat East Thurrock United 2-0 in the National League South.
