SOUTHEND United starlet Dru Yearwood wishes Saturday’s clash with Doncaster Rovers could be played sooner.
The Shrimpers were seen off 3-0 by Walsall at Roots Hall last weekend as manager Chris Powell suffered his first defeat in charge.
And Yearwood is determined to help Blues bounce back this weekend.
“It was very frustrating on Saturday, but we have to stay positive and look to bounce back against Doncaster now,” said the 18-year-old midfielder.
“We had been doing really well and it was just one bad game, which I’m sure we will recover from.
“We just need to get back to what we had been doing and we’ll all be determined to make that happen.
“I just wish Saturday’s game could come a bit sooner.”
The Shrimpers will head into the game sitting 14th in the League One standings, one place and two points higher than Doncaster.
