Lewis Manor scored a hat-trick to down Romford in a thumping 4-0 win.
Quickfire goals from Manor and former Romford midfielder Jamie Dicks put Bowers in charge at half-time.
Manor added a brace after the interval to complete a memorable evening and further strengthen Bowers' grip on second position.
