HAVING scored six in their Essex Senior League opener on Sunday, Canvey's Concord Rangers were on the goal trail again last night, beating Hullbridge Sports 4-0 in Group B of the League Cup.
Goals came from Nicky Cowley and Michael Begg before Chris Stowe came off the bench to grab a brace.
In the same section, newcomers Mauritius Sports and Pennant went down 4-2 to Beaumont Athletic at their Aveley home.
In Group A Southend Manor and newcomers Endfield 1893 drew 0-0 at a very wet Southchurch Park.
Basildon United won 5-2 at Clacton also in Group A thanks to a Craig Gilham hat-trick and single strikes from Hastings Banda and Simon Blatchford.
In Group C Sawbridgeworth won 1-0 at Romford thanks to a last minute own goal.
Tonight's matches see Bowers and Pitsea host London APSA in Group C and Eton Manor, who play home games at Tilbury, entertain Stansted in Group D.
