LOOKING AHEAD: Great Wakering Rovers head to Suffolk looking to pick up their first away points of the season.

Wakering will face Bury Town - who are also in mid-table after four matches of the Isthmian North campaign - tomorrow.

And although Wakering have claimed four points since their promotion from the Essex Senior League last term, Garry Kimble’s side have been defeated in both of their away matches so far.

Wakering will also be aiming to make it back-to-back wins following their 3-1 victory over Wisbech Town in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup.

But Bury are unbeaten at their Ram Meadow home, so Wakering face a tough test.

MANAGER’S VIEW: “It will be a tough game,” said Kimble. “They are quite an organised team and our record away from home is not great.

“We need to start getting points on the board from our away matches.

“We’re going into the game off the back of beating Wisbech Town in the FA Cup and we played very well.

“I’m hoping our confidence will be high after that and an FA Cup run is good for the club because of the funds it will bring.

“It will be difficult to select a 16 man squad because we have no injury problems or suspensions at the moment.

“That will give me a selection headache but that’s the kind of headache I want.”

TEAM NEWS: Kimble has a fully fit squad to select from.
