TIMOTHEE Dieng insists Southend United must ‘show more’ against Fleetwood Town this weekend.
The Shrimpers head into the clash on the back of three successive League defeats and Dieng is desperate to return to winning ways at Roots Hall.
“Shrewsbury wasn’t a good game so we have to react to that now and show more against Fleetwood,” said Dieng.
“We have to show we’re capable of more and we know that we are.
“We’ve played some good football in most of the games but we have to be solid, especially when it comes to defending set pieces.
“But we’re looking forward to getting out there again and we will be ready for the game.”
Blues head into Saturday’s clash sitting 18th in the League One table.
