TOM Hopper insists Southend United will be heading to Burton Albion on a real high this evening.

The Shrimpers won 3-2 at Wycombe Wanderers at the weekend to secure back-to-back victories for the first time this season.

And Hopper insists Blues have now set their sights on making it three wins in a row.

“Burton is another tough place to go but we’ll be going there feeling confident because we’ve had back-to-back wins and we want to keep building now,” said Hopper.

“Saturday was a good result but we have to move on from that.

“We have to focus on the positives, learn some lessons and go from there but it’s a game we’re looking forward to.”

Hopper bagged his fifth goal of the season to help Blues win at Wycombe.

And the 24-year-old insists his own confidence is also high ahead of this evening’s encounter.

“I’m making a little habit of being in the right place, like on Saturday, and I want that to continue,” said Hopper.

“Picking up points and wins is what matters most but I’m feeling good and all three strikers scored on Saturday, which is great.

“We’ve all worked hard to score but the whole team played a part.”
