LOOKING AHEAD: Concord Rangers host Beaconsfield Town as favourites to book their place in the final qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The Beach Boys have won their last two matches without conceding a goal following a below-par run of five matches without a win.

Sammy Moore and a number of his first-team squad enjoyed such a promising run of results en route to the second round of the competition last year.

And they will fancy their chances against a Beaconsfield team who sit 15th in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier South - at the third tier of non-league.

Beaconsfield have beaten Uxbridge and FC Romania to get to this stage, but Concord represent a significant step up in quality.

COACH’S VIEW: “We have done our homework on Beaconsfield,” said first-team coach Darren Beale. “They are not to be underestimated. They had a good win on Saturday and they tend to score quite a few goals. That said, they concede a few as well.

“We always analyse our opposition but we know we can win if we progress.

“We have the home advantage and we would love to see some more good support at the game.

“It is another game that if we turn up and perform we should win. But it is a one-off game and they will put everything into it. The prize money is of great benefit to any club but we want to maintain our form.”

TEAM NEWS: Sean Clohessy remains unavailable. Some younger players may feature on the bench.
