BILLERICAY Town and Concord Rangers booked their places in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup thanks to fine home wins.

Dean Brennan's Town were in clinical form in front of goal, with Billericay hitting nine against Isthmian Premier League side Whitehawk.

Concord, meanwhile, saw off Beaconsfield Town.

Billericay Town 9-1 Whitehawk

Billericay Town booked their place in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup thanks to a comprehensive win against Whitehawk.

Town raced into a second minute lead through Joe Kizzi, while Jake Robinson quickly doubled the hosts’ advantage by chipping Melvin Minter.

Ademola Shokunbi got in on the act by grabbing a debut goal with just 14 minutes played at the AGP Arena.

Robinson headed wide from six yards but the missed opportunity mattered little as Sam Deering slotted home on the half hour mark.

Alfie Potter hit the side netting after rounding the Whitehawk goalkeeper, while Moses Emmanuel lobbed Minter twice to allow Billericay to hit the Hawks for six inside 45 minutes.

Emmanuel then went onto complete his hat-trick eight minutes after the interval.

Robinson slammed home just past the hour mark as the onslaught continued from Billericay.

With 18 minutes still to play, Potter got his goal.

Whitehawk thought they had grabbed a consolation, but the assistant referee’s flag was up for offside to further frustrate the Hawks.

However, a Whitehawk goal did come in the dying stages as Jason Williams found the back of the net.

Concord Rangers 2-1 Beaconsfield Town

Concord Rangers advanced in the FA Cup thanks to a fine victory over Beaconsfield Town.

Jack Midson broke the deadlock inside six minutes as the striker’s looped finish found the back of the net.

Beaconsfield looked to get back into the game and broke forward on numerous occasions, but fine defending – particularly from Aron Pollock – meant the visitors were unable to truly test Beach Boys goalkeeper Sam Beasant in the first half.

Lee Minshull headed wide soon after the break and the miss proved costly as Beaconsfield got back on level terms just seven minutes after the interval.

However, Beaconsfield were not level for long as Frazer Shaw slammed home an Alex Wall cross to restore the home side’s advantage.
