LOOKING AHEAD: There is little between Great Wakering Rovers and East Grinstead Town ahead of their meeting in the FA Trophy.

Wakering have 10 points from eight games in the Isthmian North and East Grinstead have 11 points from nine games in the Isthmian South East with both having a goal difference of negative two.

Garry Kimble’s men had won three matches in a row having found their feet at the fourth tier of non-league although they were beaten 4-3 by Grays Athletic last weekend – albeit it is a match they easily could have won.

With so little between the teams, Wakering will hope home advantage will play a role as they bid to capitalise on their impressive displays in the cup this season.

MANAGER’S VIEW: “East Grinstead are in a similar position to us,” said Kimble. “It will be a tight affair if you look at the league tables and we hope home advantage can count.

“We need to play for the 90 minutes, not just 45 like at Grays last week. While they were better in the first half we were much better after that. I told the players to play for pride and if it had gone on another 10 minutes we would have got something from the game.”

TEAM NEWS: Oli Woodhouse is suspended.
