KEY Southend United duo Tom Hopper and John White are both rated 50/50 for tomorrow’s game at Gillingham.
Top scorer Hopper is doubtful with hamstring and ankle problems while centre-back White faces a late fitness check on a hamstring injury.
And Blues boss Chris Powell is unsure if the pair will be available for selection.
“John and Tom are both 50/50 for the game,” said Powell.
“They have had treatment and have also done some work outside but I’ll leave it as long as I can before making a decision.
“Ideally I do like players to be out there on a Friday joining in with the work we do but you can’t really take a chance on hamstring injuries.
“They’re not as bad as we thought but whether or not it’s too early for them we will have to wait and see.”
