ROCHFORD Hundred recorded a club record win on Saturday, trouncing Ruislip 127-0 at Magnolia Road.

Rochford - who played their first game back in 1962 - bagged 19 tries to maintain their unbeaten start to the London One North season.

And impressive fly-half Cam Greenhall was pleased to play his part by adding 16 conversions.

“It’s the highest score I’ve ever been a part of and it was crazy really,” said Greenhall.

“It was great fun though as we played an expansive game.

“We tried to play wide as much as we could and our skills were sharp.

“We really dominated with the ball in hand and it was nice for me personally to get so many conversions.

“My place kicking has improved and it was great to get some practice in.”

Danny Cleare, Mark Billings and Mark Ikhifa all bagged hat-tricks in Rochford’s win while Sam Nash and Tom Corbet both scored two tries.

Jody Allen, Harry Hudson, Chris Shields and Steve Jay also touched down to secure a 29th league victory in succession for Rochford, who won London Two North East last term without losing a single game.

Hundred have now won their first seven games of the new campaign and sit a point clear of second-placed Colchester, who they visit this weekend in a game Greenhall is already looking forward to.

“This win sets us up brilliantly for the weekend,” said Greenhall.

“The squad is excited and the vibe is great.

“We’ve got two big training sessions coming up this week and then it will be onto Saturday.”

Colchester have also yet to lose this season, winning all seven of their matches.
