JOHN White is determined to help Southend United change their FA Cup fortunes.
Blues host Crawley Town tomorrow looking to end a run of four successive first round exits.
And White - who was part of the last Shrimpers side to win in the FA Cup back in 2014 - is keen to end the recent wretched record.
“It would be good to put things right in the FA Cup,” said White.
“We’re not going to put massive pressure on it and we’ll focus on just doing what we do but I’m a fan of the FA Cup so it would be good to do well in it this season.
“There’s always a good atmosphere around the games and the unpredictability of the draw is exciting so we want to make sure we’re in it.”
Crawley are currently 12th in the League Two standings.
