Heading out on loan - Southend United striker Norman Wabo
SOUTHEND United striker Norman Wabo has joined National League side Braintree Town on a month long loan.
The 20-year-old has been a regular goal-getter for Blues under 23s this season but has not been selected in a matchday squad by first team boss Chris Powell.
Wabo, who made three substitute appearances for the Shrimpers last season, spent time on loan at Maidstone United earlier this season but was given just 13 minutes on the pitch.
Braintree are second from bottom in the National League standings and host Solihull Moors on Saturday.
