GREAT Wakering Rovers boss Garry Kimble says it is ‘not all doom and gloom’ despite suffering three consecutive defeats.

Wakering, who are 13th in the Isthmian North standings, welcome 17th-placed Mildenhall Town to Burroughs Park tomorrow.

And Kimble is eyeing a return to winning ways.

“There are some big games coming up for us and we need to start picking up points, but it’s not all doom and gloom,” said Kimble.

“Hopefully we can start winning again, starting tomorrow.

“We’re not a million miles away but the players need to be motivated because we have now got competition for places all over the pitch, so it’s up to the players to keep the shirt.

“The worrying thing at the moment is that we’re conceding too many goals.

“We need to be more ruthless, especially at the back, and we need to cut out the errors we are making.

“But we are creating chances so I’m confident we can score goals.”
