MICHAEL Turner suffered a hamstring injury during Southend United’s 2-0 defeat at Portsmouth this afternoon.
Turner was taken off at half-time at Fratton Park.
But Blues boss Chris Powell is unsure how serious the injury setback is at this stage.
“It was Michael’s third game in a week but hopefully it’s not that bad,” said Powell.
“The change was enforced but there would have been changes anyway.”
The injury compounded a miserable afternoon for Turner who also scored an own goal to put Portsmouth in front.
