CONCORD Rangers manager Sammy Moore made his playing debut in his side’s 1-1 draw at Bath City.

Moore came on midway through the second half and praised those around him for helping Rangers to secure a share of the spoils.

“We’ve got a great managerial team here and Scopesy and Daz (Darren Beale) were brilliant,” said Moore.

“They really drove the team when I was on the pitch.

“I enjoyed being out there and hopefully now I can get fitter and push one or two.”

Concord started the game strongly with Liam Nash and Alex Wall going close to scoring but Bath broke the deadlock in the 48th minute with Sean Rigg on target.

However, Concord equalised late on with Sam Blackman poking home Joe Gardner’s accurate cross.

Concord are now fifth in the National League South standings, five points behind table-topping Torquay United.
