THEO Robinson wants Southend United’s win against Accrington Stanley to be the sign of things to come – for both himself and his team-mates.
Robinson scored on his return to the team as the Shrimpers saw off Stanley 3-0 on Saturday.
And the striker is now keen to secure more of the same against Rochdale this weekend.
“Saturday was a perfect scenario really but getting the three points was the most important thing,” said Robinson.
“Of course it had been frustrating not playing so much recently as I want to be playing every minute possible.
“I wanted to play well so it was good to get the goal but we need to build on the win against Rochdale now.
“I was on trial there a few years ago though so I know just how tough they will be to beat.”
