HARRY Branch is expecting a frantic return to action for Southend Saxons tomorrow.
Southend host Old Haberdashers at Warners Bridge in their first outing for three weeks.
And Branch cannot wait to get going.
“I think everyone’s keen to get going again,” said the scrum-half.
“Training was really intense during the break and everyone’s looking really sharp.
“But I’m expecting a sharp-paced game this weekend.
“We will be looking to work hard and put in a great performance for everyone watching.
“Going into the second half of the season we will be looking to perform professionally in every game going forward.”
Southend are currently ninth in the table and will be keen to start 2019 with a win against Haberdashers, who are fifth in the London One North standings.
