CHRIS Powell is backing Harry Bunn to keep on ‘making a difference’ to Southend United.
Bunn’s loan spell from Bury has now been rubber-stamped until the end of the season.
And Blues boss Powell - whose side host Portsmouth in the Checkatrade Trophy tonight - is delighted the winger is staying put.
“I’ve spoken to Bury and they’re fine so Harry’s loan will go to the end of the season, which is good news,” said Powell.
“We all saw Harry was on fire in the first half against Gillingham and he’s a player I like.
“He does make a difference when we get him out there and I’m sure he will keep on doing so.”
Bunn has scored four goals in 18 games since joining Blues in late August.
