TAYLOR Moore has been ruled out of Southend United’s clash against Plymouth Argyle with a hamstring problem.
Moore suffered the injury during Tuesday night’s Checkatrade Trophy defeat to Portsmouth and has not recovered in time to face the Pilgrims.
As a result, Michael Turner will line up alongside John White at the heart of the back four with Nathan Bishop back in goal.
Youngster Isaac Hutchinson has also been selected in the side while young strikers Charlie Kelman and Norman Wabo have both been named on the bench.
Nine members of the matchday squad have also risen through the youth ranks at Roots Hall with one of the, Dru Yearwood, becoming just the third player in the club's history to reach 50 appearances before the age of 19.
Southend United: Bishop, Bwomono, Turner, White, Hendrie, Mantom, Dieng, Yearwood, Hutchinson, Cox, Bunn
Subs: Smith, Hyam, Kightly, McLaughlin, Klass, Wabo & Kelman
