SOUTHEND United midfielder Timothee Dieng is hoping for another memorable afternoon at Valley Parade tomorrow - only this time as an opposition player.
Dieng made 78 appearances in a two year spell with Bradford before teaming up with the Shrimpers in the summer.
And the Frenchman cannot wait to face his former side.
“I have a lot of great memories from playing at Valley Parade and hopefully I can have another one with Southend now,” said Dieng.
“The atmosphere is great there with so many fans and you can be playing in front of 17,000 or 18,000 fans.
“I had some great moments there, especially in the first season when we got to Wembley for the play-off final so I’m looking forward to going back. It will be special but we need the win.”
