HARRY Hudson may have brought up 100 points for the season but the Rochford Hundred skipper insists he is not finished yet.

Hudson bagged four hat-tricks of tries in six games before touching down against Fullerians and scoring twice against Diss last time out.

But he is now keen to add to his tally and extend Hundred’s unbeaten run of results when they host Sudbury at Magnolia Road this weekend.

“Sudbury were a game team last time, we played them in pouring rain and the conditions will be similar this time but we want to keep our run going,” said Hudson.

“They had a good scrum and are coached well too.”

Rochford are currently top of the London One North standings having won all 17 of their matches so far this season.

But Hudson insists Hundred will not be taking anything for granted against 10th-placed Sudbury.

“We are fighting ourselves in order not to be complacent,” said Hudson.

“It’s important to stay grounded and continue to work hard in order to ensure we keep the standard at the level we should be playing, not the one that we are.”

Rochford head into the game after beating Diss 60-5 last time out.

But Hudson was not completely satisfied with the victory.

“Last week’s game reflected our training,” said Hudson.

“We’ve been away from almost having a mini pre-season so our rugby time has gone down.

“Add to that the changes being made and us trying new plays it was a disorganised performance with moments of good play involved.

“But we got the win and now we want another win on Saturday.”
