DARREN Manning believes it is crucial for Hullbridge Sports to claim three points at Tower Hamlets tomorrow.

Sports are second in the Essex Senior League standings ahead of the fixture with their 18th-placed hosts.

And with clashes against a host of fellow promotion chasers in the weeks ahead, Manning knows that recording a victory this weekend could be pivotal.

“Every game is massive, regardless of who we are playing,” said the Hullbridge chief.

“Whether the game is home or away is irrelevant because we need to win.

“Tower Hamlets have beaten some good teams, so we won’t underestimate them.

“This is probably the competitive Essex Senior League season I have known and consistency is key.

“We have got to be consistent with our results and picking up wins is crucial if we want to win promotion come the end of the season.”

Michael Salako and Matt Dicks have been ruled out of tomorrow’s trip to Tower Hamlets through injury.
