SOUTHEND United have missed out on two more strikers, Echosport understands.
Blues had been keen on bringing on Jerome Sinclair on loan from Watford.
But the 22-year-old forward will now spend the rest of the season on loan with Oxford United.
The Shrimpers had also wanted to sign Kazaiah Sterling from Tottenham Hotspur but a move now seems unlikely to happen.
