SOUTHEND United manager Chris Powell will be missing 12 of his first team squad for tomorrow’s clash with Bristol Rovers.
Jason Demetriou, Harry Lennon and Rob Kiernan have all resumed light training.
But none of them will be back in time to take on the Pirates this weekend.
“I very much doubt our squad will be any different to last week,” said Powell.
“We have one or two lads joining in with the start of training in Jason Demetriou, Harry Lennon and Rob Kiernan but it’s very light.
“They’ll do 10 or 15 minutes to be among the group but they’re still some way off and we can’t rush them.”
Luke Hyam, Stephen Hendrie and Harry Bunn are also still out for the Shrimpers along with goalkeeper Mark Oxley and long term absentees Ben Coker, Tom Hopper, Sam Barratt, Lewis Gard and Harry Kyprianou.
