Injured - Southend United defender John White
SOUTHEND United defender John White will miss this Saturday's clash with Portsmouth.
The centre-back picked up a groin problem during Tuesday night's 3-0 defeat at Doncaster Rovers.
And Blues boss Chris Powell is not sure when the 32-year-old will be back in action.
"It’s his groin, abdominal area," confirmed Powell.
"He did it quite early in the first half against Doncaster but managed to get through to half-time.
"He was clearly struggling and he will definitely be missing at the weekend but we don’t know how long he will be out.
"We’re hopeful it will settle down soon but there’s no set date on him at the moment.
