Southend United fans have their say on draw at Accrington Stanley

The better team, just needed to get that second goal. Unlucky not to win. Mantom and Hart both had much better games than recently. Moore superb again.

Three points out of 12 is just not good enough. Accrington were there for the taking and we threw it away. Hope Humphrys recovers soon.

Thought we had the chances to win the game but a point will do. Shame about Humphrys as I think we would’ve won if he didn’t have to go off.

Don’t think anyone put in a bad performance but both sides seemed to settle for a draw. Humphrys was very brave for the goal. Klass impressive once again.

We were the better side but lacked a confident finisher. Coped well with the Accrington challenge and a bumpy pitch but we desperately need a win soon though and upcoming fixtures look difficult.

It was a decent performance but another game where we led, had chances and still didn’t win. If we don’t win a few games soon we are going to find ourselves very close to the bottom four.

Good point on the road but could have been more. Created enough chances and need to be more clinical. Hart was excellent at left-back again.

Well done to Humphrys for his bravery in getting the goal. Hope he recovers quickly. We certainly created enough chances and should have gone on to win the game. However, good to get a vital point. It was also great to see Kiernan on the bench and Lennon come on in the second half.

The points ran away from us there. If we were more clinical in the final third I think we could’ve nicked it. Shout out to Sam Hart, he was immense.

I’m content with a draw away but we don’t win at home and we need to start picking up three points sometime before the end of the season.

Battling point away from home. A draw is a very fair result. The officiating was dreadful but getting used to that at this level now. Thought Klass played well and good to see Lennon back out there.

A good point but could have been three. Humphrys’ bravery won the goal but we’ll now lose him for two or three weeks through injury. We need to start winning again and quickly as draws and defeats won’t be enough to stay up.
