SOUTHEND United have announced season card prices will be frozen for the 2019/20 season.

Blues fans have until Tuesday, April 9 to guarantee the fixed price during the early bird window.

And Shrimpers boss Chris Powell is keen for the supporters to get behind his team.

“With a number of long-term absentees returning to the fold in the 2019/20 season we are optimistic that we can look ahead with real hope,” said Powell.

“I’m convinced we’ve taken steps in the right direction this season which we will build on next.

“We’re thankful for the great support we continue to receive and long may that continue.”

Fans purchasing season cards in the early bird window will receive three free guest tickets and will also be entered into a special prize draw.

And the club’s head of commercial Rhys Ellingham is urging fans to take advantage of the offer.

“Supporters who renew in the early bird window will have the chance to win the prize on offer during the week they purchase, as well as being automatically entered into the draw for the following weeks, therefore the earlier you renew your season card, the more prize draws you will be entered into,” said Ellingham.

“There are some great prizes up for grabs too, including the opportunity to actually win your money back and to present the young player of the year award on the pitch before the end of the season.”

Adult season cards are available for £395, seniors £250, students £235, young persons £150, juniors £85 and children £23.
