SOUTHEND United substitute Jason Demetriou was yellow carded before entering the action at Blackpool this afternoon.
The fit-again right-back was shown a yellow card by referee Chris Sarginson.
And Blues boss Chris Powell was told the defender was cautioned for raising his arms.
“Jason spoke to the fourth (official) but he didn’t swear at him and the fourth said that too, said Powell.
“Apparently he raised his hands but I don’t know.
Some of the decisions today….we’ve got Luke Hyam having to have stitches on his shins from a two footer.
“Sometimes the occasion does get to people but I think we handled it pretty well.”
