Legend - Adam Barrett is the bookmakers' favourite to be the next manager of Southend United
FORMER Southend United defender Adam Barrett is the bookmakers' favourite to be the next Blues boss.
Barrett made 354 appearances for the Shrimpers during his playing career and, having grown up supporting his hometown club, he remains a popular figure with the club’s supporters.
Barrett, who is now first team coach at Millwall, is 6/4 favourite for the role however Echosport understands no discussions have taken place with the 39-year-old.
