SOUTHEND United manager Kevin Bond expects Harry Redknapp to be at the Shrimpers’ remaining matches this season.
Redknapp was at Blues’ Boots & Laces training ground this afternoon to oversee preparations for Saturday’s clash at Fleetwood Town.
And Bond, who has worked with Redknapp throughout his career, feels the former Tottenham Hotspur boss will be a regular visitor to Roots Hall.
“Harry is going to be a big supporter of Southend United at the moment,” said Bond.
“He came in to say hello today which was good of him.
“He’s always been very, very helpful to me and I know he’s going to be really keen to see how we get on.
“He’s someone I will lean on for sure and his experience will be invaluable.
“I talk to him anyway and I expect him to be at the games too.
“I would be surprised if he’s not, he’s a footballing man.”
