KEVIN Bond wants Southend United’s supporters to make the difference in Saturday’s crunch clash with Wycombe Wanderers.
The Shrimpers face their fellow strugglers at Roots Hall this weekend.
And Bond - who was named Blues boss last week - is keen to have the crowd right behind his side in his first home game in charge.
“The supporters can make all the difference in times of need, just like the one we’re in now,” said Bond.
“I would like to think the fans were appreciative of the players’ efforts at Fleetwood and we need them again at the weekend.
“They have an enormous part to play as we look to get ourselves out of this situation. We’re all in it together and we don’t want to be fearful.”
