ELVIS Bwomono feels Southend United must start to deal with pressure if they are to stay up this season.
The 22nd placed Shrimpers head to fellow strugglers Walsall without a win in their last 14 outings.
But Bwomono, who looks set to return to the starting line-up against the Saddlers. remains convinced Blues can work their way out of trouble.
“It’s all about handling the pressure now and that’s what we must do,” said the right-back.
“It’s not a nice situation we find ourselves in and it’s a very big game at Walsall on Friday.
“But we all think we’re a better team than what we’ve been showing and we want to prove that and stay up for everyone at the club, especially the fans who have been great.”
