Thankful - Shrimpers chairman Ron Martin
SOUTHEND United chairman Ron Martin has praised the Shrimpers' travelling support at Walsall.
Blues were roared on by close to 600 fans at the Bescot Stadium and Martin was keen to express his gratitude.
"Our fans were magnificent again," said Martin.
"We are nothing without our supporters and everything with them. They're brilliant."
Martin also went onto the pitch at the end of the 1-1 draw to thank Blues' fans.
