DARREN Beale has confirmed that Concord Rangers will rotate their side as they travel to Eastbourne Borough tomorrow.

The Beach Boys ensured that they will finish in the National League South’s top seven - barring a large goal-swing - by recording a 2-1 win over St Albans City earlier this week.

And Beale believes it is important to give some players who have not featured so much in recent weeks a chance to impress boss Sammy Moore.

“We want to put some players on the pitch that haven’t played so much during the run-in,” said first team coach Beale.

“People like Mickey (Mikhail Kennedy), who is on loan from Charlton, will get some minutes.

“Because of the games we have been playing, we have struggled to give him any time on the pitch.

“Aron Pollock will also get some game time after not being in the squad altogether for the last few games.”

Despite the Beach Boys’ incredible season - just 12 months on from narrowly staving off relegation and seeing seismic changes in personnel on and off the pitch - Beale insists it will not be easy to secure three points at Eastbourne.

Beale added: “Eastbourne beat Dartford 6-0 in their last home game, so we’re under no illusions and we know that it will be a really difficult game.

“They have a 3G pitch, so it will suit some players more than others.

“We can finish the season as high as fourth if results elsewhere go our way and we win.

“It would be great to break another Concord record by reaching 70 points for the season, so we want to triumph.”
