SOUTHEND Manor were consigned to a 5-2 defeat by Walthamstow on the final day of the Essex Senior League season.

Kieran Bishop gave Walthamstow the lead before a Dwade James brace - including a spot-kick - put the visitors in the driving seat.

Manor pulled a goal back through Kye Jude two minutes before the break, but James completed a first half hat-trick by converting another penalty.

Reece Conway scored in injury time to ensure Walthamstow hit five before the interval.

Manor frontman Mo Kargbo netted from the spot 20 minutes into the second period but it proved to be a day to forget for Adam Peek’s side.
