SOUTHEND United manager Kevin Bond is keen to discuss his future with the Shrimpers.
Bond kept Blues in League One with a dramatic 2-1 win against Sunderland at Roots Hall yesterday.
And Bond, who took charge of the Shrimpers' last six matches, will now hold talks with chairman Ron Martin.
“I love doing my job but I need to speak to the chairman and see what his feelings are about it," said the former Bournemouth boss.
"My brief when I came here was to keep the club in the League and that's the only thing I've been focused on.
"We haven't spoken about next year or anything else at all but now we know where we are we will have to sit down and have a discussion at some point.
"I'm sure it will happen in the next couple of days."
