SOUTHEND United midfielder Dru Yearwood has vowed to learn lessons from his ‘worst season in football.’
The 19-year-old found it tough going in the centre of the park for Blues this term.
But the youngster is determined to bounce back to his best.
“It’s been massively tough for me and it’s probably the worst season I’ve had in football but it’s probably one I’ve learnt the most from,” said Yearwood.
“I’ll be the first to admit my performances haven’t been good enough at times but I know how to deal with that now and things should pick up from here.
“Saturday was a big relief and I’m so happy we’ve stayed up but I’m already determined to make sure my form is better next season to help the team do better too.”
