JACKSON Wray will be gunning for more glory with Saracens this weekend.

Wray will be part of the Saracens side facing Exeter in the Gallagher Premiership Final at Twickenham tomorrow.

But, had it not been for the persuasion of the PE staff at King John School, Wray would not be on the pitch.

“It was at school that I got into rugby and I didn’t really know anything about the sport until then,” said Wray, who has already won the European Champions Cup with Saracens this season.

“I was interested in football but I’m pretty sure the staff said to me I could only play football if I played rugby. I’m glad I listened now and I’m still in touch with them.

"They’ve text me good luck and will be in the stands tomorrow, which is really nice.”
