HADLEIGH & Thundersley are celebrating back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
Hadleigh thrashed Buckhurst Hill by 114 runs in their latest Premier Division encounter.
And skipper Adam Dobson was delighted with the win.
“I’m massively happy with the result but what’s most pleasing is the performance we put in,” said Dobson.
“It’s always great to get back-to-back wins, especially in a league as tough as this.
“You can see how tight the table is from fourth down to 10th so stringing results together is huge for any team.
“We know we are a strong team in the 50-over format so now we have a couple of wins under our belts we will be looking to push on over the next few weeks.”
Hadleigh batted first and scored 242/9 in their innings with Oliver Smith top scoring with 91.
Austin Holmes added 46 while Sam Handley scored 41 before Buckhurst Hill were bowled out for just 128.
Dobson took centre stage with the ball as he took six wickets for just 31 runs as Hadleigh romped home to move up to sixth in the standings.
