DANNY Norton has been unveiled as Basildon United’s latest signing.
Norton, who featured for Witham Town last term, has agreed to join the Bees ahead of the forthcoming Isthmian North campaign.
Basildon boss John Sussex has been looking to bring in reinforcements ahead of his first full season in charge at the newly-named Cousins Car Wash Stadium.
And Sussex has turned to his former employers to secure his latest acquisition.
Norton has made the move from Isthmian North rivals Witham, where Sussex enjoyed a spell as assistant manager last term.
And the midfielder is the eighth summer arrival at Basildon.
Norton follows Tom Anderson, Conor Mead, Adam Vyse, Louis Hawes, Harry Doyle, Ernest Okah and Ayo Odukoya in joining Sussex’s new-look side.
